Goblin

2020 Mustang Gelding

Goblin is one of 12 sale authority mustangs we rescued from a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) adoption event in February 2025. Sale authority status means a horse has gone through three adoption events without finding a home, making them available for just $25—a price that often puts them at risk of falling into the wrong hands. But thanks to the generosity of our incredible donors, we were able to rescue every sale authority horse at the event, ensuring they would never face an uncertain future. Now, Goblin and his herd will live out their days in safety at our sanctuary, free from fear.

Goblin was born in 2020 in Colorado, but his freedom was short lived, he was captured in August 2021 from the West Douglas Creek herd area, which all wild horses have been removed from.

Goblin’s name is a tribute to our South Herd Manager’s daughter, who was born in October, just in time for Halloween. True to his name, he’s got a spirited, mischievous personality that perfectly matches his legendary namesake.

Goblin currently has no monthly sponsors.
